At Nu Space we create inspiring, intelligent and affordable custom spaces that you'll love.
Nu Space designs and manufactures quality joinery for domestic and commercial applications. From kitchens and bathrooms, to home office and renovations, we offer our customers the highest design principles and build quality.
Trading under parent company A & B Joinery since 1999, Nu Space was formed in late 2010. Our goal is to deliver unique and desirable design and joinery solutions to the domestic and retail environment. Through extensive consultation with our customers we are able to produce elegant joinery and built elements that integrate seamlessly into an existing space, or create entirely new spaces to truly renovate and recreate on an older site. Our collaborative process means our customers are connected with the entire project and deal directly with the designers and manufacturers.
Nu Space prides itself on an uncompromising attention to detail from conception to completion. Our design team works with you, using 3D computer design applications to show you exactly how the finished space will look before starting construction. Every design element is discussed and integrated into the package.
The design team is backed by our own fully equipped factory, where we use the most up to date machinery to construct our products. Nu Space even has its own specialised polyurethane and finishing department in-house.
Nu Space does not use contractors. Our full time staff are highly trained in manufacturing and installation and each installation is verified by yet another specialist.
These unique qualities enable Nu Space to deliver on our promise to provide our customers with the highest in quality, and personalised service.

STEP 1, THE BIG IDEA
Home or on-site consultation. We meet with you and get a brief for the job. We want to get an idea of what you want to achieve, how you want the space to feel when we are done. We also drill down into the details - spatial requirements, maximising limited spaces, types of materials and special requirements that need to be incorporated into the design. We draw up a comprehensive design brief detailing precisely the scope of work. Our quote is signed off by you and we move on to Step 2.
STEP 2, SKETCHING IT OUT
Ideas are collated and initial conceptual designs begin. A preliminary presentation is set up either in-home/on-site or in our showroom 1-2 weeks after the initial consultation. At this presentation you are shown initial designs with a preliminary set of drawings, along with proposed materials and finishes. This is the stage where we collaborate with you. We work hard to get it right, often going back to the drawing board many times to make sure every element has been considered. Once you are happy with the preliminary drawings, we move onto Step 3.
STEP 3, THE BIG PICTURE
We produce 2D and 3D computer aided drawings (CAD) that include photorealistic representation of your finished project. Photo rendered perspectives, floor plans, sections andor elevations all go together to give you a perfect picture of what the finished project will look & feel like once it's built. At this stage we also produce sample boards of materials and finishes for final presentation.
STEP 4, DOUBLE CHECK THE DOUBLE CHECK
Measure twice, cut once. Prior to manufacturing, we come to the site and, using final accurate CAD drawings, we confirm all design specifications and measurements to ensure a perfect custom fit.
STEP 5, THE BIG DAY
We install all the manufactured elements of your project to perfection. Be it a new kitchen, bathroom or home office, a fully realised commercial fit-out or an entire home renovation and redecoration, we take pride in paying attention to every detail.
