Colour back glass splashbacks are increasingly popular as they are easy to clean and care for. Glass splashbacks can be applied to kitchens, bathrooms and commercial applications. Our team first creates a template for each individual project to ensure a complete fit. Then, our in-house manufacturing team applies the finishes and completes the installation process.
A solid surface is created from a unique blend of natural minerals and pure acrylic, creating a surface of unsurpassed benefits and versatility with outstanding aesthetic appeal. The benefits of an acrylic solid surface are its durability and flexibility. It can be used in a variety of applications (but not limited to) such as bench tops, splashbacks, vanities and baths. It can be completely seamless or moulded into custom shapes and designs. It is highly durable and non-porous and unlike other stone or marble finishes, is able to be repaired if scratched or chipped.
Marble is a natural metamorphic rock product produced from limestone, by pressure and heat. Marble is available in various colours and is individually selected by unique colouration and characteristics. Marble surfaces require ongoing maintenance and are susceptible to staining if not cared for using the right sealing products on a regular basis.
Polished granite is also a popular choice for kitchen countertops due to its high durability and aesthetic qualities. It is a natural product making it one on the most sort after and popular building materials. Granite bench tops are highly durable and are resistant to scratch, stains, spills, heat, moisture. Granite comes in different colours, prices, designs, specifications and styles to meet the needs of the customer.
Polyurethane finishes provide a hard, durable gloss that can be applied to almost any surface. At Nu Space, all of our polyurethane finishes are at our in-house manufacturing department. Our polyurethane is available in satin, semi-gloss and high gloss finishes. Our colour match system allows us to create our own individual colour libraries specific to each job.
Laminated bench tops are constructed using a moisture resistant particle board with the laminate than applied to the top and edge of the board. A laminated bench top is less expensive than other materials and can now mimic other solid surface textures such as marble, granite even timber. High pressure laminates are easy to clean, and are stain resistant. The life cycle of a laminate bench top is usually between 10-12 years compared with that of a natural stone which will outlast the human lifecycle.
The first stage of the manufacturing is programming the design into our 3D cad program. Once finalised, the job is then sent to our fully computer operated machinery, which then automatically cuts all the components required to the correct specifications.
